Oakwood offers a wide variety of day service opportunities for individuals including an indoor pool and gymnasium for both therapy and recreational use.
Staff coach participants in many Special Olympic events. In addition, individuals take a leading role in the wood shop at Oakwood which produces hand-crafted chairs, tables, and stools (the latter having earned the prestigious Kentucky Crafted label).
